Life is too short to lead it with hatred. Time flies so fast that you realize you haven't done much in life and left behind. If you can't stop envying others you really don't want to make yourself happy. If your life ends in a terrible ending, that's too bad. So how to stop your jealousy?
Just think about the negative effect you may have in life, like if you envy others:
1. You really want to outdo him or her and you use all tricks for this. If the competition is too hard, you will get nothing but only distressed
2. As you cannot be pleased with your condition now, you start to hate him or her and the hatred will grow bigger and bigger and without you realize you will start to suffer a mental disease as well as physical one
3. You cannot stop the mental disease from spreading all over your body and so that you become the only person to keep off from the one you envy with, and you enjoy if it is not you to break the ice of the silence when being with him or her.
4. You invite others to join your "club" and support anybody who also envy your rival and enjoy talking behind his or her back. It is worsened if you tend to be a slanderer or an agitator.
5. If the envy has already governed you, and you lose your common sense, it is feared that you will use all the way of getting rid of your rival including use black magic. Sounds silly? In developing countries this practice has been going on up to now.
So, now you got the point of why you should not envy others, right? Think about the consequence as written above, that will urge you to stop your jealousy. Just be happy by being yourself and thanks God for everything He's given you. Be sincere, be friendly and lead a blessing life.
